LOTTE BIOLOGICS Receives Prime Minister’s Commendation for Job Creation Excellence

200+ new hires in three years and talent development initiatives

Seoul, South Korea — September 16, 2025 — LOTTE BIOLOGICS announced today that it has received the Prime Minister’s Commendation (Job Creation Excellence) at the 2025 Government Awards for Job Creation Excellence. The award ceremony was held on September 15 at the Seoul Regional Employment and Labor Office.

The Job Creation Excellence Awards, established by the Ministry of Employment and Labor (MOEL) in 2009, recognize individuals and organizations that have demonstrated leadership in both the quantitative and qualitative improvement of employment opportunities.

LOTTE BIOLOGICS has consistently invested in nurturing talent and creating quality jobs, while improving working conditions and employment stability. In 2024 alone, the company hired more than 100 new employees, with over 200 new hires added across the past three years.

Building on LOTTE Group’s long-standing expertise and its transparent recruitment framework, the company has reinforced a fair and objective hiring culture. Initiatives include certified training programs for interviewers, the introduction of a “Fair Recruitment Pledge,” and ongoing efforts to ensure a transparent and merit-based recruitment process.

In addition, the company has pursued industry-academia collaborations to cultivate bio-industry talent, expand employment opportunities, and strengthen the foundation for future industry growth. Notably, in October 2024, LOTTE BIOLOGICS signed agreements with Dongyang Mirae University, Yuhan University, Inha Technical College, and Jaeneung University to jointly develop tailored training programs for the biopharmaceutical industry.

Earlier this month, on September 11, LOTTE BIOLOGICS was also named a 2025 Best Job-Creating Company (MOEL Certification), further highlighting its contribution to workforce development.
