LOTTE Biologics established a dedicated HSE team in 2024 to enable proactive and
systematic response to major incidents and strengthen its safety and health
management framework.
The HSE team operates independently from other departments, ensuring professional
expertise and accountability in occupational safety. Through these efforts, the company
aims to prevent major incidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
LOTTE Biologics operates a structured risk assessment system to proactively manage
safety and environmental risks. In the event of an incident, a clear reporting framework is
in place to enable rapid response.
Reporting and response procedures are defined based on the severity of incidents,
strengthening overall emergency response capabilities.
LOTTE Biologics prioritizes quality management as a core principle of its CDMO operations.
The company operates manufacturing facilities in compliance with global cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and delivers
high-quality biopharmaceutical products supported by a robust quality system.
The Syracuse Bio Campus has obtained more than 62 approvals from global regulatory authorities, including the FDA, EMA, and PMDA. In 2024,
the site successfully completed FDA and PMDA inspections with zero observations, demonstrating a high level of quality management.
LOTTE Biologics also facilitates systematic cross-training programs to enable knowledge sharing across sites, supporting seamless operational
alignment with the Songdo Bio Campus. The company manages training records and status through an electronic training management system
and operates a structured training framework aligned with different stages of learning objectives.
LOTTE Biologics requires its partners to uphold standards across environmental protection, human rights, health and safety, quality management,
compliance, ethics, and management systems. All partners are expected to comply with these standards and align with
LOTTE Biologics' ESG principles.
The Code of Conduct is based on globally recognized frameworks, including the UN Global Compact, the UN Guiding Principles on Business and
Human Rights, the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, the ILO Core Conventions, and

structured and systematic management. ESG criteria are also incorporated into the selection process for new partners to promote responsible
supply chain management.
LOTTE Biologics is advancing its CSR strategy under the core pillars of Health, Environment, and Communities, with a focus on employee
participation.
The company is implementing CSR initiatives in phases—establishing a structured CSR framework (Phase I) and strengthening global
