LOTTE Biologics Named a 2026 Best Job-Creating Company
for Second Consecutive Year

Seoul, South Korea, September 11, 2026 – LOTTE Biologics (Co-CEOs James Park and Yoo-yeol Shin), announced today that it has been named a 2026 Best Job-Creating Company (MOEL Certification) by Korea’s Ministry of Employment and Labor for the second consecutive year.

Recognized for its contributions to job creation and improvements in the workplace, LOTTE Biologics received the certification plaque at a ceremony held in Yongsan, Seoul, on September 10. Tae-hyung Lim, Head of Business Support Division at LOTTE Biologics, attended the ceremony on behalf of the company.

Since its establishment in June 2022, LOTTE Biologics has continued to recruit professionals across the biopharmaceutical industry as it builds its Songdo Bio Campus. Through ongoing recruitment of both entry-level and experienced professionals to support the early establishment of its manufacturing operations, the company has created more than 500 jobs as of the first half of this year.

In particular, LOTTE Biologics has continued to expand opportunities for young talent, building a dynamic workforce with an average employee age of 31.7 years.

The company is also actively working to develop industry talent through partnerships among government, industry and academia, helping address workforce needs across the biopharmaceutical sector. LOTTE Biologics has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Employment and Labor and Korea Polytechnics to develop and operate customized training programs tailored to industry needs.

In addition, the company supports employment opportunities for mid-career and older workers as well as women returning to the workforce after career breaks, while providing job competency training for current employees. LOTTE Biologics has also established industry-academia partnerships with five colleges in Seoul and Incheon to help develop job-ready talent for the biopharmaceutical industry.
