👩🏻💻 Meet the Makers - MSAT

🔬 Meet the Makers | Angela Au, Ph.D., Associate Director, MSAT – Syracuse Bio Campus
How do you maintain process control during technology transfer and scale-up?
At LOTTE Biologics, that is where MSAT makes the difference.
In a CDMO setting, tech transfer is not just about moving documents or handing over a process.
It is about ensuring the process performs reliably at scale with the right technical oversight, cross-functional alignment, and manufacturing readiness.
With more than 15 years of experience across biologics development, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory submissions, Angela Au, Ph.D. brings deep expertise to LOTTE Biologics' MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology) team.
As Associate Director of MSAT at our Syracuse Bio Campus, she leads scientists and engineers supporting technology transfer, scale-up, and lifecycle management from clinical programs through commercial manufacturing.
MSAT serves as a critical technical bridge between development and GMP execution by:
✅ Translating process knowledge into manufacturing-ready execution
✅ Anticipating scale-up risks and enabling faster technical decisions
✅ Connecting teams across functions and regions to keep programs on track
At LOTTE Biologics, we apply phase-appropriate technical and quality oversight to help clients scale with confidence.
As Angela puts it:
"Building trust through collaboration, integrity, transparency, and communication."
Because successful tech transfer is not just about transferring a process.
It is about delivering performance, readiness, and trust at scale.
Stay tuned as we continue to introduce the makers behind LOTTE Biologics’ science-driven execution.
